16 oz Plum Blossom Loose Leaf 3pc Tea Traveler (and 1oz of loose leaf tea)
Anyone who knows me knows that I love my Tea Traveler infuser mug from Tea Etc. I have used mine at work, on the road, and sometimes when going out to eat. It is great because it brews loose leaf easily and with the leak proof lid, I can throw it in my messenger bag or purse and go.
When Tea Etc announced they were releasing a 16oz version at the Las Vegas Tea Expo I jumped at the opportunity to place an order. I love that the new mugs hold 2 cups of tea! I usually put my loose leaf tea in the mug. I pour hot water in once I reach my destination, brew and then pour into a cup. I have been also known to just put my loose leaf in, pour the hot water and go with it brewing all the way. I will say that both ways work perfectly well but you can overbrew tea if you leave it in all day. Herbals and rooibos are more forgiving since they don't turn bitter when you brew and go. You can drink right out of the tumbler since it has a screen at the top to prevent any tea or rooibos coming through. And at the end of the day I just wash it out and it is ready for whatever I decide to throw in it the next day. Easy, peasy. I love it.
The details of the mug are:
- Easy-to-use 3-piece travel mug for brewing 16 oz of loose leaf tea; plum lid
- Double-walled, BPA-free plastic bottle keeps tea hot and hands cool
- Clear mug perfect for showing off your teas, herbals or flowering teas
- Removable, screw-on stainless steel strainer keeps loose tea in bottle
- Bottle is dishwasher safe
Obviously the tea is not included. However, if you order this infuser mug from me then I will be happy to include some samples of some loose leaf tea that I love brewing in mine! Be prepared for comments when seen in public with your tea infusing mug like: "Is that seaweed?" "Is there a frog in there?" "What are you drinking?" "That is so cool looking." "Where can I get one?"
My best friend has started calling this "the life changing tea container." She uses hers to brew peppermint and infuses at least 3 times throughout the day. She doesn't leave home without it.
Let me know in the comments section which tea you would like an ounce of for free!
